W Electrically heated hose

The electrically heated hose W-type is based on a smooth bore PTFE core with an high resistance external braid in stainless steel AISI 304. Recommended for low operating pressures, it can reach 265 bar (with Ø 3/16” internal hose and temperatures up to 130°C / 266°F). It’s available in the following versions:

• T100 for operating temperatures up to 100°C. 
• T200 for operating temperatures up to 200°C. 
• T250 for operating temperatures up to 250°C. 
• Nominal diameter of the internal hose from 3/16” to 1.1/8”.

Applications

• Conveying semi-finished food products: e.g., jams, chocolate. Handling of glues/animal fats and of casein type (temperature range 40°-50°C). Maintaining the temperature of products which suffer low winter temperatures, e.g., copolymer emulsions, sugary solutions, pharmaceutical mixtures, cosmetic mixtures, water (to prevent it freezing) and numerous other products.
• Machines and equipment for the distribution of isocyanate/polyol. In thiscase, the hoses are marked red/blue as the fluids must always be transported by the same hose up to the application point where mixing will occur to obtain the desired final product.
• Hot-melt adhesive application. Fields of application: packaging, publishing, woodworking industry, mattress manufacture.
• Fume sampling and analysis in power plants and refineries.
• Application of polyurethane foams for packaging.
