Application
hardwall hose with FEP tube (polymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene), suitable to convey almost all chemical products, as found in the IVG chemical resistance chart. Designed to be sterilized at 150°C (+302°F) with standard CIP.
After consultation with the manufacturer, the end user is responsible for making sure that the lining of the hose or hose assemblies is suitable to handle the chemicals conveyed and the temperature utilized.
Temperature: -40°C(- 40°F) +150°C(+302°F) depending on medium.
Branding: continuous white/blue/green stripe “IVG Chem (Family logo)...”. Embossed acc. to EN 12115.
Electrical resistance
type Ω. Electrical resistance guaranteed for lengths equal or lower than 40m.
Construction
Tube: FEP clear, specular, particularly smooth, food quality and with exceptional thermal quality. Chemical resistance according to IVG chemical resistance chart. For temperature exceeding 50°C contact IVG.
Reinforcement: high strength synthetic cord, steel helix wire.
Cover: black, smooth (wrapped finish), conductive EPDM rubber, resistant to chemicals, abrasion, ozone and weathering.
