HOT BITUMEN HOSES
The loading and unloading of hot bitumen from factories to tankers or for dock services requires strong and safe rubber hoses.
Therefore, hoses must comply with the EN 13482: 2001 standard.
The hose constructions are built with metal reinforcements and a steel spiral wire.
They can withstand a maximum working pressure of 15 bar with a safety factor of 6 to 1.
Resistance to high temperatures is one of the fundamental characteristics of these products:
+ 200 ° C for hoses used in bitumen plants (Class B) and + 175 ° C for use on docks (Class A).
A wide range of diameters completes the offer to meet all industry needs.
The hoses are available in coils but also in service lengths with fittings at the ends:
butted and complete with lifting hooks for road transport of bitumen and vulcanized for onshore use.
Our safety information regarding the use, handling and cleaning of these products is essential
for such hazardous applications at high temperatures.
